We are looking for a Sales Portfolio Consultant that can thrive in a demanding and fast pace environment and is great on the telephone.  This is a full time position.  Our Sales Portfolio Consultants love generating business from showroom traffic, previous guests and incoming phone inquiries because the get to work with an amazing team and by working for Longo, they have opportunity to advance in our dealership and learn from the best….and you can too!

The Portfolio Sales Consultant must be able to do the following on a day-to-day basis:

  • Assist guests who are inquiring about vehicles over the phone by asking questions and listening carefully to identify their vehicle needs
  • Follow-up with guests by phone who previously visited the dealership to ask for their business
  • Provide guests with information on vehicle pricing (MSRP), packages, and availability.
  • Introduces guests to dealership operations, including the service and parts departments, to emphasize to guests the quality and efficiency of the dealerships service operations
  • Maintain a prospect development system and daily activity records and reports
  • Stay abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to guests
  • Maintain and achieves the sales and guest satisfaction objectives set by management
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management
  • Maintain high ethical standards in all actions
  • Maintain professional appearance at all times


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and individual should possess:  

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, college preferred
  • A minimum of one (1) year sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Call center experience and bilingual preferred
  • Knowledge of vehicle leasing principles; basic mathematical concepts (such as add, subtract, divide, multiply, and percentages); equity values and depreciation; and laws that govern retail automotive sales
  • Ability to coordinate activities with other employees (team player); read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; learn and understand the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail auto sales; use good judgment in challenging situations; pay attention to detail; follow-up with guests and employees; work well with the public; communicate in a professional manner on the phone, internet and in person; use standard office equipment
  • Must be fingerprinted and have a valid sales and driver’s license and maintain an acceptable and safe driving record
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time
  • Must have excellent phone etiquette
  • Full command of the English language; fluency in Spanish language is preferred
