We are looking for a part-time Human Resources Manager to maintain and enhance the organization by planning, implementing, and evaluating team member relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

The Human Resources Manager must be able to do the following on a day-to-day basis:


    • Support recruitment initiatives and participate in recruiting and onboarding efforts


    • Oversee pre-employment procedures such as new hire orientations and training programs


    • Review Company website and applicant tracking system for accuracy and current information


    • Develop and deliver training to managers and team members on a variety of management and related topics


    • Lead the performance management process for management team and team members (coaching, counseling, career development, performance appraisals)


    • Help drive Human Resource compliance by ensuring standardized and consistent Human Resource practices and policies are followed


    • Assist in promptly addressing employment-related complaints by completing thorough investigations and taking the appropriate next steps to resolve the issues in a fair and equitable manner


    • Advise on compliance with state/federal laws, benefit laws, company policies, procedures and guidelines. Keep all Company communication boards updated with proper compliance posters and necessary Team Member communications


    • Maintain and make necessary updates to employee handbook


    • Provide compensation guidance: pay for performance culture and support compensation planning process with pay plans


    • Provides support to team members for benefits, workers compensation and leave of absence questions. Tracks FMLA, STD and other leaves.


    • Prepare and maintain accurate records, files and reports, including responsibility for maintaining personnel records


    • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of staff and management


    • Attend and participate in department meetings as well as Penske way meetings


    • Demonstrate skills critical for managerial success including leadership, decisiveness, flexibility, sound business judgment and have the ability to work at all levels of the organization.


    • Assist GM with Team Member activities that are fun, engaging and enjoyable for all to participate


    • Ability to travel to other Company locations in order to facilitate trainings and participate in HR projects and initiatives


    • Champion Employee Opinion Survey process ensuring proper follow-up and action planning from management staff


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and individual should possess:  

    • 5+ years of HR Management experience, customer service background preferred


    • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field


    • Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, be highly organized, ability to work independently, action oriented, see big vision and collaborative with all levels of organization


    • Strategic short/long term thinking capabilities with a focus on providing excellent employee and customer service


    • Proven leadership and change management skills to direct performance of Team Members and achieve desired results


    • Ability to conduct and oversee needs assessments with well-developed project management skills


    • Must have strong computer and database application skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)


    • Position requires experience and demonstrated competency in:

      • Must be able to use consulting skills to identify goals and overcome obstacles
