    Summary: The Drive Manger is responsible for providing support to the Assistant Service Advisors and for promoting vehicle repair service sales and being the liaison between the guest and dealership on all vehicle repair activities.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties include the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned

     

    • Recruits, Interviews, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all Valet/Carwash Staff

     

    • Maintains daily sales and production records for the team as prescribed by dealership management

     

    • Assists Service Consultants with guests by inspecting vehicles on the drive for potential tire and cosmetic service recommendations

     

    • Assures proper repair order flow to satisfy side drive flow and guest expectations

     

    • Remains continuously posted on the shop’s workload to determine the kind of work the shop can quickly accommodate.
    • Handles guest’s concerns that demand management’s attention tactfully, promptly, and with genuine concern for the guest’s problems.

     

    • Answers guest questions over the phone, Internet, and in person.

     

    • Establish long-term positive relationships with guests and vendors.

     

    • Enforces company policies and procedures to Valet personnel

     

    • Stays a breast on product changes, new products and warranties.

     

    • Performs other specific administrative functions as directed by service management.

     

    • Ensures department production and guest satisfaction objectives set by service management are achieved.

     

    • Maintains assigned workspace in an organized and clean manner.

     

    • Maintains a professional appearance at all times.

     

    • Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individual should possess:

    • A high school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school desired;
    • Minimum of two years automotive dealership experience, preferably as an Assistant Service Manager;
    • Knowledge of vehicle products and warranty policies; automotive parts and repairs; and mathematical principles (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying, and percentages) and their application;
    • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles; determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it; train and develop employees; coordinate activities with other employees and to oversee the work of subordinates; use good judgment in challenging situations; read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public; communicate in a professional manner on the phone, internet and in person; and use standard office equipment
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable and safe driving record.

    • Stand for long periods at a time.
    • Use hands and fingers in repetitive motions, daily.
    • Able to withstand outdoor weather
