  • Overview

    We are looking for a candidate that can thrive in a demanding and fast pace environment.  The Financial Analyst is a key part of our Finance Team, and will be responsible for various accounting and reporting analysis for Penske Motor Group, LLC and subsidiaries.  The individual in this role will have interactions with the senior management of PMG and our store level managers on a wide range of accounting, reporting and finance projects. The ideal candidate also has a minimum of two to three (2-3) years’ experience in accounting or financial position, preferably in the automobile industry.



    • Preparing financial reports/models that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses and earnings
    • Preparing monthly consolidations for Penske Motor Group, LLC (PMG) and subsidiaries
    • Interpreting and analyzing the financial statements continually
    • Developing and presenting monthly variance reports, analysis, and recommendations to PMG management
    • Creating and updating materials for the Company’s Board meetings
    • Providing support for ad hoc projects, including business development, real estate lease analysis, and acquisition due diligence
    • Overseeing the accurate and timely completion of income tax returns, annual financial audits, and compliance with debt covenants
    • Participating in the preparation of short- and long-term financial forecasts for the dealership
    • Maintaining current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards
    • Working closely with upper management and other department managers to insure that their needs are met and the lines of communication remain open
    • Performing other administrative duties, as needed
    • Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.


    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individual should possess:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred
    • A minimum of two to three (2-3) years of experience in an accounting or a financial position, preferably in the Automotive Industry
    • Exceptional analytical abilities and strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • Detail-oriented and exceptional organizational and communication skills
    • Strong work ethic and the ability to work extended hours
    • A high sense of urgency and the ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines
