The Admin Clerk is responsible for assisting the Pre-Owned Department on back-end functions.

The Admin Clerk has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Rate of $22.00.

*This position is 100% on site at Longo Lexus in El Monte, CA.

• Assist the preowned manager on data entry.
• Assist the preowned manager on vehicle inspection. 
• Maintain professional standards and friendliness over the phone.
• Assist with blind appraisals.
• Verify purchasing vehicle conditions.
• Assist in making decisions on purchasing price.
• Assist in making decisions on wholesales vehicle.
• Handling the purchasing and wholesales paperwork process.
• Sorting trade in vehicles.
• Handle DMV paperwork
• Assist the preowned manager on frontline vehicle quality control. 
• Send units to auctions.
• Maintain high ethical standards.
• Always maintain a professional appearance.

• Knowledgeable with different vehicle makes, models, and trim specifics.
• Understand vehicle Book and Market values.
• Knowledgeable in assessing vehicle conditions.
• Basic skills in identifying previous paint work and damages, preferred.
• Microsoft Excel skills is a must
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is desired.
• Customer service experience is highly desired.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, have, and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record

Physical Demands

• Operating motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
