We are looking for a Pre-Owned Valet that can thrive in a demanding and very fast paced environment. This is an entry level position with a chance to learn about the automotive industry. At Longo, the opportunities are endless, and can promote from within into roles such as a Service Consultant, Service Technician, Sales Consultant, and many more. This is a full-time position with some schedule flexibility, includes weekend shifts; as a Longo Team Member you would get to work with an amazing team surrounded by only the best.

The Preowned Valet Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Rate of $19.00.

*This position is 100% onsite at Longo Toyota in El Monte, CA.

• Logs new pre-owned vehicles delivered to the dealership and compares serial numbers against invoice.
• Inspects vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
• Verifies vehicle paperwork before releasing vehicle to third party.
• Parks pre-owned vehicles in assigned area.
• Catalogs and stores keys
• Moves vehicles, as directed my management.
• Prepares and delivers sold vehicles to guests.
• Maintains the parking lot in a neat and organized manner.
• Makes sure all the vehicles in the sales parking lot are kept locked.
• Must follow all company safety policies and practices.
• Assists in all other areas of the sales department, as needed.
• Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.      
• Maintains professional appearance.

• A high school diploma or equivalent desired.
• Minimum of six (6) months customer service experience, desired.
• Ability to coordinate activities with other employees; pay attention to detail; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.

• Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Perform phyiscal activities that require considerable use of arms and legs.

• Exerts maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects and use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, bending, reaching and squating.
