We have an exciting and RARE paid internship opportunity at Longo Toyota of Prosper designed to provide exposure to different lines of our business that include Sales, Service, & Parts. 

We are seeking four interns that are self-motivated, energetic, & hardworking students to join us for 4.5 weeks during the Summer. At Longo, you will gain priceless real-world experience by working in different areas of the business. Our interns will rotate between two parts of the business and will have the opportunity to present a final project at the end of the internship. This internship will allow you to put everything you've learned into action and give you an opportunity to grow in ways you can only imagine. You will work alongside a number of dynamic individuals responsible for our success every single day.

This is a 4-week paid internship program at $13/Hour beginning Monday June 8, 2026 and ending Wednesday, July 8 2026 with Final Presentations taking place on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

 Schedule will be

Monday – Thursday

8am – 1pm  

**Week of June 8th will run Monday-Friday

Although this internship is only for the summer, aside from obtaining hands on experience/exposure, it is also our goal that you will gain fundamental tools that will help set your professional foundation.

• What to expect!
• Shadowing experienced service associates, observing their interactions with customers, and practicing customer service skills.
• Shadowing experienced sales associates, observing their sales techniques and strategies, and practicing sales skills.
• Shadowing experienced service technicians, observing their work and techniques, and practicing vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Will partner and communicate with different levels of management.
• You will spend a week in each department following the below schedule:

• Week 1: Introduction to the dealership Sales, Finance, Parts overview - Sales overview, Finance, Warehouse management, parts catalog, online orders, internal customer service, basic AR accounting
• Week 2-4: Fixed Operations

• Front of the house: Customer service, service menu, contracts, Basic car warranty repair (front of the house)
• Shop: Repair procedures, TIS, warranty repairs, CCR, production management

• Week 5: Final Presentation on Wednesday, July 8,2026.

To be considered for this opportunity, the individual interested in interning for us must be:

• high school student in either their Junior or Senior year. Seniors who will have already graduated by the summer are still welcomed to apply.  
• An applied student with a GPA of 3.0 or better 
• Hard Working & Dedicated
• Possess the ability to coordinate activities with other employees; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language and work well with the public.
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in written format.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent organization skills, with the ability to multi-task.
• Must have a valid TX driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record     
• Punctual - Adheres to assigned schedule in a timely manner.
• Available to complete all 4.5 weeks of program
